How long have you competed in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series?
15 years
What titles have you earned?
Two world records in springboard. Also been to the world championships with the hot saw.
Interesting fact(s):
Competing in lumberjack sports brought me to the United States. When I was 24, I was training with a guy in New Zealand who would come to the US to compete. I asked him if I could come. I spent three months here and met my wife.
What is your favorite part of the US?
West Coast/Pacific Northwest area. It reminds me of New Zealand.
Do you do any volunteer work?
Yes, I've finished houses for a local nonprofit.
What is the most rewarding part of participating in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series?
It's a great competition and getting to meet wonderful people.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I'd go back to Paris. I was invited there in 2008 to compete in a fundraiser. My wife and I enjoyed it a lot.
