How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
Cal Poly State University
When did you begin participating/competing in lumberjack sports and the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series?
I first began competing in 2000 at Cal Poly. My first appearance in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series was in 2003 at the inaugural college championship.
How do you train for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series and other lumberjack competitions?
I lift weights, chop and saw as much as I can (which isn't easy living in Las Vegas), and play many other sports to keep my body fit.
Are you related to any current or former STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series competitors?
No, but Shana Martin and I call each other cousins.

You can never be beaten if you never give up.
